Great service but some things are way overpriced. I was quoted $120 for a cabin filter change. The filter costs $30 and it takes about a minute to complete.

My truck was in for oil change and fix a leak in the front of the truck. I asked my service man Evan if they are going to check all fluids, the last 3 times they didn’t. I just got back from northern Maine last week that’s where my truck started leaking. I filled my windshield wiper fluid before I left, I always use a lot with all the logging trucks.lm going back for 3 weeks in November and if you run out there is no where to get any in the woods, I ran out last year and I brought a gallon with me. I told Evan to make sure they fill it he told me when I left it was filled , guess what when I got home I checked and I used almost the whole gallon I had in the back of my truck.i know it’s only being picky but when you buy a 60 thousand dollar truck and have it serviced they do the service not bullshit the service manager so he tells me it’s full. I don’t blame Evan he’s been good to me but I would have been out in Maine if I didn’t check I shouldn’t have to bring 2 gallons.

Just when it comes to the ordering of the replacement part I learned that had fallen thru the cracks and that the part was on location for approx 20 days before I received the phone call to set up the appointment for repair

Brought vehicle in for two issues; fluid leaking from control arm bushings, and plastic pieces broke on sunroof. Long story short, vehicle was at the service department all day (drop off). We were told a separate appointment was needed with collision to have sun roof looked at, and estimate submitted to the warranty company. So now we have to coordinate another day to be without a vehicle, and since we purchased it new, only once have we ever been provided with a loaner car. I’m just annoyed that between service and collision, two departments located within close proximity to one another, they couldn’t work together to have both matters tended to while the vehicle was there for 7+ hours. Seeing what’s wrong with sunroof so an estimate can be prepared and submitted to warranty company is one task. I understand parts would likely have to be ordered and repairs would occur another day. So now I’m potentially looking at 2 more days without a vehicle. Again, annoyed and a bit frustrated. Otherwise, service advisor Bill was friendly and courteous and I am happy he offered to get the state inspection done while he had the vehicle.

My service advisor is always very accommodating, very professional and always takes into consideration your time while waiting for your service to be completed. Everyone is always very friendly.

Scheduled appointment to have a headlight bulb replaced. Dealership did not have one in stock and was told they cannot get one through Buick. Had to wait while they found one in an aftermarket location and either sent someone for it or had it delivered. Almost two hours for completion of task.

They did everything fast! Went in for a check engine light. I had scheduled an appointment with another gmc dealer closer to my home a week out but they recommended I not drive it back home (in Stroudsburg) and squeezed me in next day. They did not care that my car had been seen by another mechanic and were understanding. Will definitely be back there again :)

I was quoted the wrong price for an oil change, and it turned out to be more than what I was told when dropping off. I was quoted the price for a 6 quart vehicle when mine takes 8. I understand the simple mistake but was annoyed it was not honored.

Sebastian was our sales person. Excellent service. We purchased a 2025 GMC Sierra 3500 crew cab on June 2, 2025.. the sales and service staff at star GMC are perfect. on November 29 we went down for a black Friday special and we purchased a 2026 GMC terrain elevation, then we contacted our daughter, her family came down and they purchased a 2026 GMC Acadia AT4, the same day. We also love the lifetime powertrain warranty that starred GMC offers on all new gas vehicles. My old truck that we just sold was a 2007 classic GMC Sierra 3500 crew cab that we bought brand new in February 2007.

David Patino was very professional and extremely respectful even with the tough negotiations.

As per every visit, no car wash. It rained. Also I didn't receive my $10 coupon off which I gave to Bill upon arrived. A women called me the day to see if I was satisfied and I told her that I didn't receive coupon off and she told me someone would be calling me. Never happened. 😒

Comfortable and clean

My big disappointment was the annual state inspections that I was told would be free were not. I had to pay $52.57 for an emissions test and $6.95 for a multi point vehicle inspection and shop supplies. Deceptive sales. Disappointing.

I’ve come to really rely upon Star Buick to have my car serviced. While no one is happy about having to have one’s car fixed, stuff does break, and routine maintenance is a must. Evan has always been professional & personable, while addressing my concerns.

Bill and Tyler tried to help me with my situation. It would have cost me $4,200 to repair my 2013 GMC. It was only worth, I think, $4,500 when repaired. I then looked into a lease, but that was too high for me to handle. I'm 82 years old and I do not have unlimited funds to work with. I then went for a lease with Nissan for $299 a month which I could handle. I thank Bill and Tyler again for their help. I also have a 2021 GMC Terrain that is doing very well.

Pleasant and quicker than expected

My salesperson, Dwight, was excellent. He kept in contact with me while I waited for the truck to be delivered. He answered all my questions with a quick response and was a joy to work with. John did a great job with the financing part of the deal. However, I was disappointed with the delivery of the vehicle. The truck arrived on a Thursday and I made an appointment to take delivery on Monday at 10 am. When I got there, the truck was covered in snow and the truck was not detailed. When I observed the truck, I found multiple blemishes in the paint that needed to be buffed out. When I left, I heard a rattling noise coming from the console. I immediately returned to the dealership. The sales manager was more than helpful trying to find the source of the noise and got it fixed. This was a very time consuming process. I was there for 4 1/2 hours before I was able to take my NEW truck home.

Really stuck it to me regarding a transmission repair. Told me to drive until it gave out and then bring it in for a 7k repair. This led me to believe the warranty didn’t cover the work, so I went elsewhere when the work was needed. Star service manager told me it was up to me to remind them of the warranty that I paid for when I bought the truck from Star. No responsibility, accountability or respect. After over 6 years of loyal business, I will most certainly not return to any Star location for any reason, nor will I recommend. It’s a real shame.

Our vehicle was towed in for a complete dead battery. The day before going to Philadelphia our infotainment screen GPS was not working, when we arrived at our destination, our on Star was not working also. We called on Star and they worked with us trying to correct the problem with no success. The person we spoke with said that GMC was having a problem with the Moduels on these vehicles. We then called the dealer to take it in to check it. We set up to drop it off the next morning, but it was completely dead and had to be towed. They worked on it and two days later and said it was done. When we picked it up and got in it, we started it, it did the the same thing. We went back in and explained to the service adviser what was going on and she said that the Module would have to be replaced. I feel that they knew that was the problem to begin with and should have just ordered one from the beginning. I'm sure that our vehicle wasn't the first one with this problem. Everyone was very nice and polite up and above.

I was taken care of promptly and met Bob Hoffman for the first time. He was thorough and explained things to me that I did not know previously. Like about my GM rewards, etc. Was very happy with everything.

A few weeks back I had an issue with my steering wheel after getting a new heated one a bit ago because of missing parts during covid... Great automotive service. Had emergency tire repair situation that was unsafe to continue to drive on it. However, Lisa the receptionist initially told me the garage was too busy/ probably couldn’t get me in, then said she’d check with Bill- service coordinator. Had me on hold for about 15 minutes- thought she forgot about me- was ready to hang up and see if I could get in elsewhere. Bill was able to get me in that day- fixed my tire and was able to do my yearly car inspection. How it went from couldn’t fit me in to getting all of that done was surprising. Bill is a godsend- never lose him!!!!!

They do not try to upsell you when you bring your vehicle in for service. They will provide you with a list of recommendations, but you can choose when you are ready. For instance, they don't try to tell you that you need a cabin air filter every time you have an oil change.

I hate coming here for service. You sell me a car stating that I get free oil changes and free inspection. When I try to use these free services you always forget and try to charge me and it takes upwards of a half an hour to get the bill correct. It’s such a waste of my time and so unprofessional.

It took about 6 weeks to get my repair completed. The first person I was dealing with was fired and no one took over. The delay was in getting approval from the insurance company which was obtained on the day I contacted the dealership. They never received the approval because it was faxed most likely to the wrong number and no one ever contacted myself or the insurance to inform they never got the approval to do the work. They drug their feet in contacting the insurance for this approval and finally someone called and got the same approval that was obtained on day 1. Then it took 3 weeks for the item to be shipped and then my vehicle was finally fixed.

During the visit, my service advisor let me know that there a few minor needs that my car had that could be remedied without scheduling another visit. The car was at Star, it would take only a few minutes to keep my car up on its maintenance schedule and so I agreed it was a smart move to have the work done. In just a little time I was back on the road in my up-to-date maintained car without a need for a later visit to Star.

I arrived late to pick up my car and the service personnel were very accommodating.

I ordered a bed cover through GMC and it's apparently a flawed design. The weather proofing strips that run the length of the bed are just taped on and started peeling off after only a few months. The company's fix for this is to give me the same "weather proofing" stripes to tape on after "I" have to remove the old ones. I find this to be utterly unacceptable! I wasted $1300 on a bed cover that doesn't protect the contents in the bed! Needless to say I'm very disappointed in how this situation was handled! Obviously you don't care about the custom after you have taken their hard earned money. Shame on you for doing business with company's like this! Guess I'll have to take my business elsewhere and leave scathing reviews everywhere possible to warn people about the crap that is sold through GMC. Buyer beware!
